Veteran R&B group New Edition announced Monday they are bringing The Culture Tour to Memphis with a March 13 show at FedExForum. The show will also feature Charlie Wilson and special guest Jodeci.

All six members of New Edition — Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Bobby Brown, Ronnie DeVoe, Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant — will take the stage next spring. This is the group’s first tour since 2014.

In 1983 New Edition released its debut single, "Candy Girl," off its self-titled album, hitting No.1 on the Billboard Hot Black Single Charts and jumping ahead of Michael Jackson’s "Beat It." Since then, New Edition has released more than six studio albums and received multiple Soul Train and American Music Awards, as well as a Grammy Award nomination.

Most recently, New Edition performed at the American Music Awards in November, taking the stage in the “Battle of Boston” with New Kids on the Block. In 2017, the group's three-part biopic "The New Edition Story" aired on BET, earning 29 million total views. That same year, the group earned the BET Lifetime Achievement Award.

Recently reunited '90s R&B group Jodeci and Charlie Wilson, co-founder and former lead singer of '70s funk group The Gap Band, are joining the "Mr. Telephone Man" singers on the tour. The three award-winning acts will bring decades of R&B to one stage.

Tickets will be available at ticketmaster.com or the FedExForum Box Office. Presale tickets go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. CT. Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. CT.
