EDISON – One resident of a Stephensville Parkway two-story home was displaced following a three-alarm fire Saturday morning that heavily damaged the structure.
No injuries were reported, according to Edison Fire Chief Brian Latham.
Around 12:30 a.m. Saturday firefighters responded to reports of a fire at a home on Stephensville Parkway. Upon arrival, police and firefighters reported that there was heavy fire to the rear of the house and out the front garage doors and the first-floor living area, according to authorities.
The fire is under investigation.
Firefighters from Edison, Piscataway, and Metuchen responded to battle the blaze. The fire was extinguished in one hour, Latham said.
