ECSO investigating homicide of teen on Baggett Court in Brownsville
The Escambia County Sheriff's Office is investigating the homicide of a teen juvenile found dead just after 6 a.m. Thursday.
The body was found in the road near Baggett Court and North P Street in Brownsville with shell casings scattered around it, said Amber Southard, public information officer with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
After examination by the medical examiner, the cause of death appears to be gunshot wounds, according to the ECSO.
The investigation is ongoing. As of Thursday morning, the identity of the victim had not been released and no suspects had been arrested.
