1. Simmer holiday spices for a festive aroma
Boil a pot of water and add in your favorite spices for a warming aroma. Try cinnamon sticks, orange peels, cardamom pods, whole cloves, star anise, pine sprigs and more for a delicious-smelling scent. (We love this herbal mulling spice tea, too!)
2. Make place card holders with candy canes
Tie three mini candy canes together at the center with a bit of string. Then, secure at the top and bottom with a dot of hot glue. Once glue has cooled and set, place trio of candy canes hook side down on the table and insert place card.
3. Fold napkins into elf hats
First, fold napkins lengthwise. Next, fold one side into the center twice and continue rolling to create a cone shape. Turn the top, open part of the napkin cone down. Add a cranberry to the top of the "hat" with a toothpick. (Try using these red cloth napkins from Amazon, only $11.29 for a dozen.)
4. Make centerpieces out of wine glasses
Turn a wine glass upside down and place holly leaves and berries underneath. Add a tea light candle to the top for a festive centerpiece.
