EastEnders has revealed the aftermath of Chelsea Fox's huge decision over Gray Atkins.

The new mum made the shock choice to stay with her serial killer husband in Friday's (January 28) episode, after seeing how swift he was in making a decision over their son Jordan's surgery.

In scenes airing next week, Chelsea takes troubling steps to further isolate herself from her friends and family because she feels she's now stuck with her abusive husband.

However, Chelsea has to think quickly when Gray angrily confronts her over Whitney coming to visit her at the house. Their doctor will interrupt the conversation with the joyous news Jordan is recovering thanks to Gray's decisiveness.

Once the momentary happiness subsides, Chelsea has to explain to a tense Gray that she's cut off Whitney and is now completely focused on their family.

Her mum Denise Fox will later come by to check how the family are doing, but she's warned off by Chelsea that she's not allowed to visit Jordan.

Ahead of these troubling scenes, Zaraah Abraham spoke about how Chelsea feels she's been left behind in all of Kheerat and Whitney's planning.

"She feels safer knowing that other people know what Gray's like and are keeping an eye out for her but I think she feels that they have ulterior motives too, it's more about them than her," noted the soap star.

"Sometimes she doesn't feel like she is their priority in all this."

These new scenes air Monday, January 31 on BBC One.

EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One.
