Dundas RTW Fall 2021
Like his fellow London-based designers, Peter Dundas is looking on the bright side. He whipped together a fall collection full of film noir and disco glamour, all in anticipation of post-lockdown revelry.
The look: Dundas looked to the 1930s and the 1970s for his silhouettes, creating wide-leg trousers and mannish jackets and coats with statement shoulders, while evening dresses were as glittery as a disco ball. Details included ostrich trims on sleeves and animal prints on knits, coats and even the brand’s newest category — tights.

Quote of note: “It’s richer, more fun, glamorous and sensual than previous collections and with soft, touchable fabrics. There’s also a lot of tailoring and construction, but without losing the element of comfort.”
Standout pieces: The claret silk velvet suit with a long jacket and wide-leg trousers; the skinny and glittering evening gown with ostrich trim, and a fun, swingy fringe minidress in magenta and green.
Takeaway: This woman is going out, staying out, and won’t be home until breakfast.
