The Duchess of Cambridge’s Boden cardigan is back in stock (and comes in 3 new colours)

The Duchess of Cambridge caused a sartorial storm last year when she wore a stylish and affordable cardigan from high street brand Boden.

The royal, 39, wore the Abercorn Scallop cardigan during a video call with Johannah Churchill, who was one of the finalists in Kate’s photographic competition, Hold Still 2020, in November.

Unsurprisingly, the cardigan swiftly sold out after the mum-of-three wore the design, but just weeks later it was back in stock for pre-order - and promptly sold-out once again.

Now the design is back in stock for a third time, plus, has been given a 2021 update as it’s now available in a range of new colours.

When it first launched, the Abercorn Scallop cardigan was only available in frosted blue or brown.

However, fast forward a few months and it is now available to buy in four trendy (and spring-ready) shades: pale blue, navy, pink and soft grey.

The design has a scalloped trim detail around the neckline, hemmed cuffs and waist, as well as a button front fastening.

The cardigan is available for £75 in dress sizes 6 to 22.

The duchess’ layered garment can be worn with jeans, or smart trousers for a more formal occasion, paired with a skirt or over a dress, which makes for a versatile wardrobe must-have.

Supply scarcity may worsen in the coming months as North Sea fields undergo major maintenance.The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies will meet next week to decide on output levels. While Russia has signaled it favors a further easing of production cuts, the country’s oil output dipped below its OPEC+ target this month, meaning it failed to take full advantage of the more generous quota it was afforded after January’s OPEC+ meeting.“We all know the OPEC return to production is looming over the market pretty strongly,” said Gary Cunningham, director at Stamford, Connecticut-based Tradition Energy.
