Dua Lipa announces her debut Milwaukee concert — and it's happening less than a month from now, at Fiserv Forum
One of the biggest pop stars of recent years will make her Milwaukee debut — just 29 days from now.
Dua Lipa — who rose up to the A-list with smash hits like "Don't Start Now," "Levitating" and "Break My Heart" from 2020's platinum-certified "Future Nostalgia" album — will be performing at Fiserv Forum on Feb. 23, she announced Tuesday.
The Milwaukee date initially wasn't a part of the much-anticipated tour, which was announced last September. But on Monday, Dua Lipa announced that two Canadian dates next month, including a Toronto show that was scheduled for Feb. 23, would be postponed until this summer.
She did not give a reason for the postponement, although other big tours have had to cancel or postpone Canadian shows in recent months due to COVID-19 complications. Consequently, Milwaukee landed tour stops last year that weren't part of initial routing plans, including a Hella Mega Tour stop at Summerfest with Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer; and a Harry Styles show at Fiserv Forum in November.
Tickets for Dua Lipa's Milwaukee show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the box office (1111 N. Phillips Ave.) and at ticketmaster.com. Prices have yet to be announced. Caroline Polachek and Lolo Zouaï will open.
The Dua Lipa show will be part of a busy three-day stretch of shows for Fiserv Forum. Tyler, The Creator is playing the arena Feb. 24, with Imagine Dragons stopping there the day after.
