DETAILED FORECAST:

TODAY: Mainly clear and mild through the evening with temperatures falling through the 60s. Clouds increase overnight with a few showers possible by daybreak. Lows will dip to around 60 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few rounds of showers and thunderstorms. An isolated storm may become severe into the afternoon and evening with damaging winds the primary threat.

Locally heavy rain, small hail, and an isolated spin-up cannot be ruled out. It will be a warmer day overall with highs around 80 degrees. Showers and storms will still be possible overnight, but the threat for severe weather will diminish.

THURSDAY: Rain is likely on Thursday with a few embedded thunderstorms once again. There is a low risk for severe weather with some isolated gusty winds and heavy rain. Flooding may become a bigger issue due to saturated ground and rounds of rain. Winds will increase a bit, too. High temperatures will climb to the lower to middle 70s.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy and cooler for Friday with a few more scattered showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder or two. Highs in the lower 70s.

SATURDAY: Drying out on Saturday with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies into the afternoon. It will be a seasonable day with highs in the middle 70s.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and warmer for Sunday with high temperatures reaching the lower 80s.

MEMORIAL DAY: Mostly sunny. Feeling like summer with highs in the upper 80s.

TUESDAY: Another mostly sunny, and hot day with highs around 90 degrees.
