A whopping nine million UK adults aim to complete Dry January this year (up from eight million people last year), according to Alcohol Change UK.

It's no wonder that sales of no- and low-alcohol beverages grew by more than 7% across 10 key global markets in 2022, surpassing £9 billion in market value.

There are plenty of other non-alcoholic options now in 2023 - some of which taste like alcohol, while others have an alcoholic 'vibe' without replicating the taste or smell - so it's all about personal preference.

There's a myriad of benefits from swapping to a zero-alcohol substitute. According to Alcohol Change UK, the organisation behind the Dry January movement, 70% of people sleep better, 86% save money and 65% noticed improved general health after a month of no alcohol. There's also a reduced risk of cancers, blood pressure and liver disease.
