Drone delays Falcons’ Week 3 win over Seahawks

The Atlanta Falcons were on the verge of getting their first win of the season in Week 3, but the game was stopped by the officials midway through the fourth quarter when a drone was spotted flying over Lumen Field in Seattle.

The officials appeared to be signaling a timeout before NFL security asked the players to clear the field.

The game eventually resumed after an eight-minute delay, and the Falcons would hold to secure a 27-23 win over the Seahawks to move to 1-2 on the season. Running back Cordarrelle Patterson led the team with a career-high 141 rushing yards
