Drake shows off customized Raptors championship ring

The Toronto Raptors are the reigning NBA champions and one of their biggest supporters made that statement pop with a fully customized ring to go along with his own championship piece.

During the ring ceremony prior to the season opener between the Raptors and the New Orleans Pelicans, Drake took to Instagram to flaunt a set of giant stones.

Designed by Drake and jewelry maker Jason of Beverly Hills, the custom ring appears to pay an homage to the team’s beginnings with the head of the original Raptor logo.

In the second photo of the ring, “The Boy” is sprawled across the side. Embedded across the top of the piece appears to be the numbers of the championship team aligned in a row.

Both rings look as if they are loaded with symbolism for the historic run the Raptors made this spring.

However, Drake wasn’t the only fan that was able to get some new ice on Tuesday night.

Nav Bhatia, the “Superfan,” has been to every single Raptors home game in their history and through that immense support for the club, he was able to earn a championship ring for himself.

Both Drake and Bhatia have strong connections to this team and will always have the rings to show it.
