A 17,191-square-foot office building in downtown Venice is for sale for $5.58 million.
The building at 420 S. Tamiami Trail has three levels and sits on a 0.8-acre lot. Marketing material from Michael Saunders & Co. put traffic counts at 24,000 and about 2,500 households with a median income of $68,211 within a one-mile radius.

Eric Massey and Melinda Garrett, commercial advisors with Michael Saunders & Co., listed the property.

The property would also be available for lease at a rate of $22 per square foot.
The structure was built in 1985 and renovated in 1990.
Edgewood General Partnership bought the property for $2.2 million in 2005, according to the Sarasota County Property Appraiser's website.
