Donations to Community Food Pantry Saturday to be 'double matched' by Meijer

RICHMOND, Ind. — On Saturday, Dec. 11, supporters of Richmond's Community Food Pantry can triple their donations through Meijer's "Simply Give Double Match Day."

The purchase of any Simply Give card for $10 or more (with no top limit, only one card needed regardless of amount" on that day will be matched twice over by the Meijer Corporation. That means a card purchased for $25 will result in a $75 donation to the food pantry, the release stated.

Simply Give cards can be found near the checkout.

The Community Food Pantry, 306 N. 19th St., is a cooperative effort of Richmond-area churches. For more information about the pantry or how to help, go to communityfoodpantry.org.
