With the Miami Dolphins losing left tackle Terron Armstead and right tackle Austin Jackson in their Week 12 matchup against the Houston Texans, they’ve been down three starting offensive linemen from the beginning of the year.

Now, it looks like one may be close to returning, as the Dolphins have officially designated left guard Liam Eichenberg to return from injured reserve. He began practicing on Wednesday at UCLA, but it’s unclear whether he’ll return to action this week.

Head coach Mike McDaniel has been cautious with injuries in his short tenure in South Florida, so it wouldn’t be too surprising to see the Dolphins continue to start Robert Jones at left guard for another game or two before giving Eichenberg his spot back.

If Miami can get Armstead and Eichenberg back on the left side things will be a lot easier for Tua Tagoviloa and company.
