Dolly Parton is seriously sexy at 73!

The Tennessee native looked gorgeous as ever as she walked the red carpet at the 2019 Country Music Association Awards. She's hosting the show alongside fellow female powerhouses Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire.

In addition to her signature platinum blonde hair — still ultra-voluminous, although not as sky-high as it's been in years past — Dolly rocked a crystal-covered cream gown with a revealing slit that showed off every last inch of her left leg. Finishing off the look were hot pink nails and rings that give new weight to the idea of a "rock."

Dolly is a 44-time CMA nominee, but her appearance Wednesday is one of just a handful of times she's attended the annual awards show. It's been nearly 45 years since she accepted her 1975 CMA for Female Vocalist of the Year. Decades later, in 2016, she would take home a Lifetime Achievement Award recognizing her incredible career.

Absent, of course, was Dolly's longtime husband, Carl Dean, who's managed to avoid making public appearances for the entire duration of their 50-plus-year marriage. Dolly has explained before that he just doesn't like the spotlight, plain and simple.

The two met when Dolly was just 18 years old, and she says that although he stays away from the public eye, he's still her ultimate cheerleader.

"He’s always supporting me as long as I don’t try to drag him in on it,," Parton told People in October. "He’s always been my biggest fan behind the scenes, but he’s at home."
