If there's one thing the Drummond dogs love more than anything else, it's treats. In fact, when it comes to chowing down on Ree's Pioneer Woman treats, they even have a favorite flavor: "The Beef & Brisket bites are hands-down number one, but recently the dogs have been loving the Chicken Tots, which is one of the newer varieties," Ree says.

But if you happen to run out of those popular tot-shaped treats, don't worry: There's a brand-new product on the market that'll give your pups just as much to look forward to. It's a dog treat maker, and it's every bit as wonderful—and futuristic—as it sounds.

The nifty device (which is also available on Amazon) looks an awful lot like a waffle maker (and works the same way too!), but its bone-shaped molds will quickly clue you into the fact that it is, in fact, canine-focused. In minutes, you'll be able to whip up fresh treats right at home. And it's easy to use, too: Just plug in the machine, add your batter of choice, and close the lid. The treats also release easily, thanks to a nonstick aluminum cooking surface.

Oh, and take a look at the lid—how cute is that pawprint pattern? It'd make for an excellent gift for a dog lover.

Of course, you can't whip up a delicious, dog-approved batter without, you know...a recipe. Good news: The treat maker comes with recipes for both sweet and savory treats, all of which use whole ingredients (just like Ree's treats!). Flavors include Peanut Butter Pumpkin, Cheddar Bacon, Chicken and Wild Rice, and Grain-Free Greenies.

If that's not enough to convince you, you should also know that a portion of all of the proceeds from these treat makers will benefit animal rescue efforts at North Shore Animal League America in Port Washington, New York.

Here's to treating your dogs—and treating yourself to the knowledge that those treats are actually good for them.
