What does an equitable future look like? | Melinda King, MAKERS Moment
MELINDA KING: It looks like everybody looking at different people, especially marginalized communities, and saying what does this community need to be successful. People have-- they really are very challenged with the concept of equity because they're like, well, give everybody the exact same. And everybody doesn't need the exact same to be successful. So for me, it's like us really embracing what does each community need to be their very best self and then finding a way to make sure they have that.
