Disney princess left 'shaking and crying' after man allegedly groped her during photo

At what most consider to be the happiest place on Earth, a 51-year-old man allegedly groped a Disney princess while she was working at the Magic Kingdom park in Orlando, Fla.

Brian Sherman was at the theme park with his wife when they saw the Disney princess, who police did not identify. Sherman got "very excited" and said she was his "favorite" character.

Sherman, who is a registered sex offender, allegedly proceeded to put his arm around her and grope her breast, the affidavit said.

The Disney employee told police she was "immediately uncomfortable."

It is considered "inappropriate" for guests to wrap their arm around Disney employees in photos, but because Sherman and his wife were on either side of her, she was "unable to move."

A co-worker stepped in and suggested a different pose so Sherman wouldn't be touching her breast, but he doubled down.

He allegedly "cupped the victim's right breast with his right forefinger and thumb with only the thin skin-tight fabric in between her breast" and his fingers. He also allegedly "cupped and lifted" her breast.

The Disney Princess immediately "began shaking and crying" after Sherman left.

The photos taken by the park photographer were used by police to identify and arrest Sherman, and he was booked on a charge of battery. He has since bonded out of jail, police told BuzzFeed News.

Disney World released a statement saying that "everyone should feel safe at work."

"We encourage Cast Members to come forward in any uncomfortable situation," the statement said.

The woman told police she plans to prosecute and will testify in court, according to BuzzFeed News.
