Game notes: Each team had Monday off. The Tigers are coming off a series loss to the Los Angeles Angels but did salvage a win in the finale. Tarik Skubal has not lost a decision since May 25, dropping his ERA from 5.23 to 4.36 in the process. The Cardinals lost three of four to the Atlanta Braves and have had a rough start to June (6-12). Oviedo, 23, has made 12 starts (one relief appearance) over two seasons with the Cardinals and has a 4.95 ERA in 60 innings.
