After a strong showing at NBA summer league in Las Vegas, Jamorko Pickett declared he belonged with the Detroit Pistons long-term.

On Friday, the Pistons made it official.

Pickett has signed a two-way contract with the Pistons, taking the spot vacated by Luka Garza earlier in the day. With Pickett's signing, their roster is now completely settled with training camp set to begin next Tuesday.

Pickett, a four-year starter at Georgetown that went undrafted in July, was one of Detroit's biggest surprises in Vegas. The 6-foot-9 forward started three of their final five summer league games and reached double-digits in scoring in each game while knocking down nine of his 16 3-point attempts.

At Georgetown, Pickett was a career 36.5% 3-point shooter. He's also a long defender, and showed an occasional ability to shot off-the-dribble during summer league.

Pickett's signing happened hours after the Pistons promoted Luka Garza from his two-way contract to a standard NBA deal, finalizing the main roster at 15 players.

"He puts the time in, he’s a great person and I was really happy to watch his confidence grow as the week went on," assistant coach JD DuBois said about Pickett in Vegas. "I think he has the talent, and now it’s him being present, not worried about the last shot he may have missed, not being concerned if he’s going to make or miss the next one, taking one possession at a time. Really was proud to watch the results follow the time that he put into his game."
