Dennis Quaid has insisted that he doesn’t even notice the 39-year age gap between him and his new wife.
The Hollywood star, 66, surprised fans when he revealed last month that he had tied the knot with 27-year-old Laura Savoie.
But he has now said that age isn’t as issue as he and Savoie – who is his fourth wife - have such a strong connection.

“There is 30-something years between us, and we just don't even notice it,” he said on The Today Show.
“I've never related to someone in my life better than we do.
“We have such a great relationship and you know, love finds a way, wherever it is.
“And you never know when love is coming, who that is going to be, and you have no control over it.”
“We just couldn't be happier,” he added.
Quaid popped the question in October 2019 after dating Savoie for around six months.
They had planned to wed in Hawaii but changed their plans because of the coronavirus pandemic and exchanged vows in Santa Barbara in June.
The actor – known for movies such as The Parent Trap and The Day After Tomorrow - has previously been married three times, to actresses PJ Soles and Meg Ryan and estate agent Kimberly Buffington.
He has three children, including 28-year-old actor Jack Quaid.
Quaid recently told The Guardian that his fourth wife is his Mrs Right.
“I’ve been married three times and this is the final one, I know it is,” he said. “I feel like I have a real partner in life.”
