Demi Moore's Daughter Rumer Willis Talks Ashton Kutcher Miscarriage & Mom's 911 Emergency
Rumer Willis opened up about her mom Demi Moore's marriage to Ashton Kutcher and revealed why she was "so angry" at him during their relationship. The 31-year-old sat down with Jada Pinkett Smith for her Facebook show, "Red Table Talk," on Monday. Rumer's famous mom and younger sister, Tallulah Belle, were also present but that didn't stop her from being honest about how she felt during her mother's marriage to "The Ranch" actor. Revealing that she didn't understand why they wanted to have a child together, she also described why she grew "so angry" with the situation.

The Miscarriage:
Speaking about the topics in her mom's memoir, "Inside Out," Rumer began discussing the bomb drop that fans learned which was that Demi Moore had fallen pregnant with Ashton Kutcher's baby but 6 months into the pregnancy, the actress lost the baby. Rumer stated she was confused at why they wanted to start a family when all three of her children were nearly grown adults. “So much of that time, especially with Ashton, I was so angry because I felt like something that was mine, had been taken away,” she told Jada Pinkett Smith.
Rumer Didn't Understand:
Rumer continued by stating her mom's determination to grow the family made her feel like she wasn't enough. “When she wanted to have another baby, it was like, and then it wasn’t happening, and then there was so much focus on that, it was like, ‘Oh, well we’re not enough,'" she stated. Demi Moore's oldest daughter with Bruce Willis also admitted that she moved out when Demi lost the baby because she "couldn't stand the idea" that she wanted to have another child.
"Part of the reason I moved out of the house was I think after you had a miscarriage I literally was just like, ‘Why are you so desperate to have another kid?’ and I couldn’t stand the idea,” she recalled before saying her idea of the situation changed after she discovered photos of Demi Moore's pregnant belly prior to the miscarriage. “But then I found these pictures and I was like, ‘Oh my God’. I saw how big her stomach was and I was like, ‘Oh my God. I was so insensitive’. I never once went to you and said, ‘I’m so sorry. Are you OK?'” Rumer remembered.
911 Call:
Jada Pinkett insured Rumer that despite her insensitivity about the situation, her feelings were valid and it was healthy to own them. “It doesn’t mean you don’t love your mother, it doesn’t mean you’re not compassionate to her,” she assured her. The group also talked about the night Rumer had to call 911 when her mom experienced a drug-induced seizure while partying with her and her friends in 2012.
Recalling the traumatic event, Rumer said she went into flight or fight mode for fear her mom would die. "I was there in the other room with 911 panicking because I’m like, either my mom is gonna die and I’m not gonna be in the room and I’m gonna feel the guilt of that for the rest of my life, or I’m gonna be there and see this image of my mom that I will never get out of my head,” she stated. Rumer said she was also concerned for her sisters. "What will I do? Or I will have to call my sisters in the morning and tell them that my mom died and they are never gonna get to talk to her again,” she recalled.
The Memoir:
Tallulah, who was 9 years old at the time of the incident, told Jada Pinkett that she didn't understand what was going on with her mom. “No one in my family spoke about it," she said. “I had no idea what was going on, she had been sober my entire childhood,” Tallulah added. “And then she drank and then I just knew that I was scared and that she was unsafe and there were many years of saying she was sober and she wasn't and we couldn't trust it. And all of the adults around us, in an effort to protect us, were protecting her. So if she wasn't sober, they would tell her she was."
Demi Moore's memoir caused quiet a stir when it hit stands last month. Her tell-all covered everything from the shocking miscarriage to experiencing a rape at 15 years old and threesomes with Ashton Kutcher. She also dished on her marriage to Bruce Willis, who didn't seem to mind because he showed up to support her at the book launch party.
