Demi Moore reveals she had a miscarriage during her relationship with Ashton Kutcher

Demi Moore has revealed she had a miscarriage during her relationship with former husband Ashton Kutcher.

The actor opened up about the heartbreaking incident as part of a cover story for Harper’s Bazaar magazine, detailing how she was six months pregnant at the time and that the pair had planned to call the child Chaplin Ray.

According to multiple outlets, Moore goes on to blame herself for losing the baby, because she had started drinking again have previously been sober.

The Ghost star - who was 42 at the time - and Kutcher, who was 27, were together for another six years after the tragic event, before separating in 2011. They were divorced the following year.

"In retrospect, what I realised is that when I opened the door (again), it was just giving my power away,” she said, looking back on her relapses with alcohol.

"I guess I would think of it like this: it was really important to me to have natural childbirth because I didn't want to miss a moment. With that I experienced pain.

“So part of being sober is, I don't want to miss a moment of life, of that texture, even if that means being in some pain."

The eye-opening profile coincides with the release of her upcoming memoir Inside Out, which Moore describes as a “very vulnerable” look at her life and career in Hollywood, later this month.

Elsewhere in the book, the 56-year-old reportedly claims that Kutcher cheated on her with two women in a hotel hot tub and that her relationship with Bruce Willis ended because he didn’t like how her career kept her away from him and their three daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah.

Moore also says she was sexually assaulted when she was 15 and that over the years, she has struggled with substance abuse and Vicodin addiction.
