University of North Florida forward Demarcus "Bae Bae" Daniels was a two-time ASUN defensive player of the year and the Ospreys' all-time leader in blocked shots.

One of the key players on the University of North Florida's NCAA basketball tournament team in 2015, two dominant pitchers and program pioneers in women's sports were named to the UNF Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2023.

Demarcus "Bae Bae" Daniels, who played for the Ospreys' basketball team from 2012-16, averaged 8.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and shot .481 from the floor in 128 career games, and was the 2015 ASUN tournament MVP in leading the Ospreys to the conference title and a berth in the NCAA tournament.

He was a two-time ASUN defensive player of the year honors and a two-time ASUN All-Academic Team honoree and four-time ASUN Academic Honor Roll recipient.

A native of Ashburn, Ga., Daniels' holds the single-season (73) and career blocked shots record and was named to the ASUN All-Decade team.

Tod Ewasko and Corbin Olmstead had dominant baseball careers in two era for UNF. Ewasko, who played from 1999-2002, posted career records of 24-6, 3.22 ERA, 225 strikeouts and only 57 walks. He was 14-3 as a junior to lead the Ospreys to the NCAA Division II World Series.

Olmstead, who played from 2013-16, was on the top two-way players in UNF history. He hit 35 homers and drove in 153 runs, and had a 13-9 record with a 3.18 ERA, 167 innings pitched, 166 strikeouts and 21 saves. He was a three-time ASUN First Team selection.

He finished his career as the UNF Division I leader in home runs, saves and fielding percentage.

Also named to the Hall of Fame:

● Dagnija Medina, beach volleyball 2012-14, volleyball 2009-12: A native of Latvia, Medina was a member of the inaugural UNF beach volleyball team and posted a 60-35 record. She still holds the program records for matches played and victories at No. 1 doubles. She was on two ASUN championship teams and was on the conference pair of the year with Anna Budinska. She also lettered four years in volleyball.

● UNF women's tennis 2011-12: The Ospreys went 16-5 and were undefeated in ASUN play. They captured the conference regular-season and tournament titles, the first time in history a UNF women's tennis team won both. Audra Cohen was the ASUN coach of the year and Aline Berkenbrock, Danielle Day and Lorena Aviles were first-team All-ASUN.

● Kathy Klein, administration 1994-2011: Klein was one of the key figures in the transition of UNF athletics from Division II to Division I and was the senior woman administrator and associate athletic director. She also oversaw the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, CHAMPS Lifeskills program and handled duties specific to her position as the SWA. Her roles at UNF also included overseeing compliance, academic support, strength and conditioning and other sports administrator duties.

The Hall of Fame class will be inducted at a banquet on Jan. 20.
