If you're new to the wonderful world of AirPods, essentially they are just wireless earbuds. With over 26,000 reviews, 4.5 stars out of 5 on Amazon and a cult following to boot, their popularity might be odd to some. But, speaking as someone who uses their own pair of AirPods every single day, I can attest to the fact that they really live up to the hype.

Obviously, not having to deal with tangled wires is the first benefit of these earbuds — but the sound these little guys pack is incredible. They are also extremely easy to set up and connect to your other Apple devices, and they're even customizable. You get to choose if you want your music or podcast to pause, play or skip forward with just a double-tap and you also can access Apple's virtual assistant by just saying "Hey Siri."

Now if having to charge your AirPods is a turn off for you, keep an open mind. Personally, I was most worried that they would charge slowly and get lost easily, but I've been proven wrong on both counts. They have a battery life of up to five hours of listening time with one charge or more than 24 hours with their charging case, and since they have a sleek little case to live in, I've found them super easy to keep track of.
