DAVE'S AUTOBODY CRUNCH TIME PLAYER OF THE GAME...

The Galesburg High School boys basketball team opened Western Big 6 play with a 77-59 loss to Moline on Friday night at John Thiel Gym.

Senior guard Dre Egipciaco was named the Dave's Autobody Crunch Time Player of the Game for the Silver Streaks in the loss to the Maroons. He finished with 13 points, and Egipciaco hit some key buckets for Galesburg in the second and third quarters.

The Dave's Autobody Crunch Time Player of the Game is chosen by WGIL's Brad Bennewitz and Jeremy Pickrel.

"Crunch Time" is based on exactly that. It's not a player of the game or a game MVP. It's about who stepped up at a critical point in the game and was a difference-maker. Sometimes it's one play or sometimes it's an individual who made more than one key play. It really could be anything.
