Welcome to the latest edition of our Diversity & Inclusion News Round-Up. Today we are talking about a new report from McKinsey, LinkedIn's Diversity Nudges, how working from home can impact gender equality, and a librarian from Afghanistan fighting for women's rights.

Well-being
Interesting report from McKinsey about talent attraction and attrition, surveying over 13,000 people in 6 different countries. Companies need to start rethinking their offerings, as traditionally, people were attracted by career development and advancement - but this is being more and more replaced now by the ask for flexibility, well-being and meaningful work.

Gender equality
We know about the challenges that can potentially come with women working from home, including the risk of missing promotions due to proximity bias. This article looks at other aspects as well, including gender roles in families - and how these new ways of working could lead to a regressive division of domestic and caregiving responsibilities.

Gender balance
LinkedIn just announced a new feature called "Diversity Nudges" that will alert recruiters if their candidate search lacks gender balance. The tool will then suggest additional criteria (like location, skills or companies) to improve the balance. Read more here.

Women empowerment
