PlayStation owners can once again buy the glitch-riddled action game Cyberpunk 2077 digitally, but with an important warning.

According to a PlayStation Store listing, Sony says the "best experience" for playing Cyberpunk is on PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5 systems.

"Users continue to experience performance issues with this game," reads the warning on the PlayStation Store page. "Purchase for use on PS4 systems is not recommended."

Studio CD Projekt Red confirmed Monday Cyberpunk is available on both the PS4 Pro and PS5, with plans to release a free upgrade to all PS4 owners during the second half of 2021.

"Users may continue to experience some performance issues with the PS4 edition while we continue to improve stability across all platforms," reads a tweet from CD Projekt Red.

When the game launched last December, players reported significant technical problems impacting their experience on PS4 and Microsoft's Xbox One, such as the game freezing up while playing.

The problems prompted both Microsoft and Sony to offer full refunds for digital versions of the game. Sony also removed Cyberpunk 2077 from purchase on its digital store. The studio also pledged to secure refunds for players who bought physical copies of the game.
