CSU basketball at San Diego State: How to watch on TV, online, betting odds and more

A whirlwind of schedule changes has led to a marquee Mountain West basketball game on national TV this Saturday.

The top-20 Colorado State men's basketball team will play at San Diego State. The game came together after CSU (at Boise State) and San Diego State (home vs. Nevada) both saw their opponents this weekend placed on a COVID pause.

This game will pit the top two teams in the preseason Mountain West poll against each other. CSU was picked first and San Diego State second.

Saturday's 2 p.m. Mountain tip will be broadcast by CBS. Here's what to know about the game and how to watch and listen online.

When/where: 2 p.m. Mountain Saturday at Viejas Arena on San Diego State's campus

The CSU broadcast is available on KARS 102.9 FM, 98.1 FM (Denver) and the Varsity Network app.

CSU's radio team will be Brian Roth (play-by-play) and Adam Nigon (analyst).

Betting line: San Diego State is a 2.5-point favorite, according to Tipico Sportsbook.

Attendance/tickets: Viejas Arena has a capacity of 12,414.

Coaches: CSU is coached by Niko Medved, who is 63-40 at CSU in his fourth season. He's in his ninth season overall as a head coach with a career record of 142-127. San Diego State is coached by Brian Dutcher, who is in his fifth year leading the Aztecs. He has a career record of 105-34.

Team records: CSU is 11-0 (1-0 Mountain West), and San Diego State is 9-3 (1-0 Mountain West).

Rankings: The Rams are No. 19 in the USA TODAY coaches poll and No. 20 in the Associated Press poll. The Aztecs aren't receiving votes in either poll.

Metric watch: CSU is No. 27 in the NCAA's NET rankings, and San Diego State is No. 54. The Rams are No. 39 in KenPom rankings, and the Aztecs are No. 41. It is a Quad 1 game for both teams.

Series/last year: CSU is 42-46 all-time against San Diego State. The teams played twice in San Diego last season. CSU won the first matchup 70-67, coming back from 26 points down to win. San Diego State won the second matchup 78-65.
