Crumbl Cookies to open in Peoria this week
Crumbl Cookies is set to open its first location in Peoria on Dec. 9.
The opening comes less than seven months after franchisees Matt and Angie Hanzel opened a Crumbl Cookies in East Peoria.
“The locals have accepted us with open arms,” the Hanzels said in a press release. “As local business owners, we are looking forward to sharing delicious cookies with our neighbors!”
The Peoria storefront, located at 4509 N. Sterling Ave., is situated next to Mission BBQ. The business will operate from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Crumbl Cookies, which opened its first store in 2017, has since grown to over 500 locations in more than 40 states. The business offers rotating cookie flavors each week, along with its permanent milk chocolate chip cookie.
When the cookie shop opens, guests will be able to place their orders in person. The Hanzels plan to launch delivery and curbside pickup options on Dec. 14, according to the press release.
