Critically Endangered Egyptian Vulture Chick Hatches at San Diego Zoo

The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance announced the hatching of their second ever Egyptian vulture chick at its Safari Park in California on May 18.

The zoo shared this video of their newest addition, and said that the “fuzzy fledgling” will play an important role in the recovery efforts for the species.
