Man saved by neighbors, displaced after fire in Enon

A man is displaced after a fire in Enon Saturday afternoon.

Crews were called to a house on fire in the 4000 block of West Enon Drive with a man possibly trapped inside around 1:40 p.m., according to a Fire Chief with Enon Fire Department.

When crews arrived on the scene they reported seeing fire in the garage at the back of the house.

The man, who fire crews said had physical disabilities, was able to get out of his house with the help of neighbors.

While the fire was contained mostly in the garage, the man was displaced due to smoke damage to the home.

Red Cross was called to help the man find a place to live.

No one was injured in the fire.
