Need a COVID-19 shot or booster?

Summit County Public Health will offer drive-thru clinics for

once a month, in addition to its walk-in clinic and pop-up vaccination clinics throughout the community.

COVID-19 vaccinations: Pop-up clinics coming to locations throughout Summit

The drive-thru clinics, which will be held at the agency's West Akron headquarters, are a response to increased requests for the convenience of a drive-thru vaccination clinic, spokeswoman Marlene Martin said.

The Tuesday drive-thru clinics will take place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 24, June 21 and July 19 at 1867 W. Market St. in West Akron.

The Pfizer and Moderna vaccine will be offered, in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines. No appointments are necessary.

If a line develops, the agency asks that vehicles not stop on the railroad tracks.

Masks are required at all agency vaccination clinics.

Watch the website, www.scph.org/covid or the agency's Facebook page for cancellations due to severe weather.

Daily walk-in clinics

The health department also offers weekday vaccine clinics by appointment or walk-ins at its headquarters in West Akron at 1867 W. Market St. Appointments can be scheduled at https://gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov for that clinic and many pharmacies.
