QUÉBEC CITY, Sept. 30, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
886 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,200,754*;
14 new deaths, for a total of 16,784 deaths, i.e.;
3,864 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,671 hospitalizations, including 517 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 8 compared to the previous day;
42 people in intensive care, including 14 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 8 compared to the previous day;
12,825 samples conducted on September 28;
292,762 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 245,509 positive: 231 declared for yesterday, including 194 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
24,112 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 21,267,249 doses received by Quebecers.
