COVID-19 outbreaks in senior facilities, schools still trending

Feb. 4—The Oregon Health Authority's weekly coronavirus outbreak report showed that Jackson and Josephine counties still had a relatively high number of infections in schools and facilities for seniors, but not as many at day care operations or workplaces.

Some schools had dozens of COVID-19 cases among students, including Grants Pass High School (61 students, five adults), South Middle School (30 students), Central Point Elementary (26 students, three adults), Crater High School (24 students, two adults) and Eagle Point High School (22 students, four adults).
