In the latest week COVID-19 cases in Rhode Island were at a level the CDC says means substantial community transmission. A Wednesday report said the state had 57 COVID-19 patients in hospital beds, from 67 a week earlier. Here's a look at some other numbers you should know:

Providence County

  • Coronavirus cases reported: 928 in the latest week; 826 in the previous week; 217,616 in the pandemic.

  • COVID-19 deaths reported: Four in the latest week; seven in the previous week; 2,453 in the pandemic.

Kent County

  • Coronavirus cases reported: 251 in the latest week; 311 in the previous week; 47,562 in the pandemic.

  • COVID-19 deaths reported: One in the latest week; three in the previous week; 492 in the pandemic.

Washington County

  • Coronavirus cases reported: 216 in the latest week; 209 in the previous week; 31,530 in the pandemic.

  • COVID-19 deaths reported: One in the latest week; zero in the previous week; 219 in the pandemic.

Bristol County

  • Coronavirus cases reported: 124 in the latest week; 73 in the previous week; 13,228 in the pandemic.

  • COVID-19 deaths reported: Zero in the latest week; zero in the previous week; 166 in the pandemic.

Newport County

  • Coronavirus cases reported: 137 in the latest week; 106 in the previous week; 19,548 in the pandemic.

  • COVID-19 deaths reported: One in the latest week; one in the previous week; 81 in the pandemic.

Rhode Island

  • Coronavirus cases reported: 1,004 in the latest week; 1,422 in the previous week; 357,440 in the pandemic.

  • In Rhode Island, 819,134 people have a least one dose of the vaccine according to the RI Department of Health

  • COVID-19 deaths reported: Six in the latest week; nine in the previous week; 3,419 in the pandemic.
