Regina Pats forward Connor Bedard is the best prospect hockey has seen since Connor McDavid, and he's having a season for the ages in the WHL.

Bedard tallied a whopping 12 points in three games over the weekend, scoring seven goals, including back-to-back hat-tricks.

The 17-year-old scored three and added two assists on Friday to beat the Moose Jaw Warriors 9-5, then followed it up with an identical stat line the following night in a 7-3 triumph over the Warriors. Bedard finished off his insane weekend run with two points in a 4-2 win over the Saskatoon Blades on Sunday.

Bedard now has 70 goals and 71 assists in 55 games for the Pats this season.

Regina and its superstar will next face the Blades on Friday.
