Lincoln County Board of Commissioners: The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. May 17 in the Commission CHambers and via Zoom at

Lincoln County Historic Preservation Board: Notice is hereby given that the Lincoln Historic Preservation Board meeting is scheduled for May 18, 2022 at 6 p.m.

Blood drives: Blood donations can be made at the following dates and places: May 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church gym.

Historic churches: Journey into the present past on this guided tour with Nuevo Mexico Profundo, a nonprofit organization founded to preserve New Mexico’s historic churches. The self-drive itinerary visits the St. Joseph Apache Mission in Mescalero, the St. Patrick Mission, and Santo Niño de Atocha Mission churches in Three Rivers, NM. Cost $60 per person. Market: Discover fresh, local food grown and prepared by our community at the Wingfield Park Growers Market (to replace the Ruidoso Downs Artisans and Farmers Market) where artists, bakers, wineries, and more converge on Saturdays to provide locally made products. Free wifi: The Tularosa Basin Telephone Company/Tularosa Communications, Inc. partnered with businesses in each community to bring students free WiFi hotpots beginning Aug. 5 at the Ruidoso First National Bank, eat lot. We will announce each location as the service is enabled, but anticipate having one in Alamogordo, Ruidoso, Cloudcroft, Tularosa, and Carrizozo.

Siren testing: The Village of Ruidoso Fire Department tests the sirens on the 1st and 15th of every month at 5 p.m.
