Community Bank opens new Pennsylvania flagship building near arena

Sep. 27—WILKES-BARRE TWP. — Community Bank President of PA Banking Barbara Maculloch on Monday said the bank's branches are a reflection of its people, from employees and customers to the communities they live and work in.

Community Bank Monday announced the official opening of its new 16,000-square-foot building at 350 Liberty Plaza next to the Mohegan Sun Arena and the Marriott Residence Inn.

"This flagship location is home," Maculloch said. "A place that will allow us to deepen our relationships with current customers and grow with new ones, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome the community to this new location."

Maculloch said the new modern and conveniently located building will be coined the bank's flagship location in Pennsylvania.

The flagship location integrates the latest state-of-the-art technology systems and design and will create a unique space for customers and employees. The building includes three drive-thru lanes, two ATMs, and representation from all lines of business including retail, commercial, and wealth management. Customers will enjoy plenty of parking options and a modern banking experience.

Construction began on June 2, 2021, on the 2.277-acre parcel and was completed last month.

The flagship location officially began welcoming customers Monday, Sept. 26.
