The Colts showed up to play the Texans in Houston, but not many fans did
Perhaps this is what happens when you have an absentee landlord.
Indianapolis Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton was once jokingly referred to as the owner of NRG Stadium, the home of the Houston Texans, for his 57 catches, 1,146 yards and 8 touchdowns in 10 games prior to today's meeting.
But the people of Houston were not too interested in witnessing Hilton's one appearance in town Sunday.

This is the tailgating scene right across from NRG Stadium. I have never seen it like this at an NFL game. pic.twitter.com/4CDJnkHTOx

Heading to cover Texans/Colts with Joel and Nate, and this Houston tailgate experience is pretty sad compared to what we saw in Buffalo a couple weeks ago. pic.twitter.com/iM0hA4XgL7

The Colts are 14-6 vs. the Texans in Houston all-time.
The 2-9 Texans rank 16th in the NFL in average attendance at 67,201 and 24th with a capacity percentage of .933. Sports teams generally announce tickets sold, not actual attendance, so don't expect the announced figure to match what you see.
