In a game that seemed impossible earlier in the week, the Indianapolis Colts (0-2) hung with the Los Angeles Rams (2-0) until the final possession in what was an exciting game at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday.

While injuries were the common theme all week, even mid-game, Michael Pittman Jr. overcame a setback and ended up having a very strong game.

He capped off the afternoon with eight receptions and 123 yards, which is a career-high for the second-year wideout. Without T.Y. Hilton and Parris Campbell on the field, it was a game for Pittman to prove himself as the No. 1 option this team needs.

We will have to see what develops with Carson Wentz’s ankle this week, but it seems like he is developing a good relationship with Pittman.

If both can stay healthy, they could become a lethal combo going forward. Hopefully, Pittman can have another strong performance against the Titans next week in Nashville.
