Colts place RB Jonathan Taylor on COVID-19 list

The Indianapolis Colts placed running back Jonathan Taylor on the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of the Week 12 matchup with the Tennessee Titans, the team announced Saturday.

Taylor popped up on the final injury report Friday being labeled as not injury related, but it seems he either tested positive for COVID-19 or is a high-risk close contact to someone who did.

Regardless, the rookie running back will miss Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.

The second-round pick has taken 135 carries for 518 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the season.

With Taylor now out, the Colts are likely to lean on Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines to share snaps.

Taylor joins defensive tackles DeForest Buckner and Denico Autry on the COVID-19 list, both of which will be unavailable for the Week 12 game on Sunday.
