Colorado's Jaylyn Sherrod secures Pac-12 Player of the Week award, presented by Nextiva

Colorado's Jaylyn Sherrod has been named the Pac-12 Women's Basketball Player of the Week, presented by Nextiva, for Feb. 13. Sherrod averaged 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals during the Buffaloes' home sweep of the Washington schools. She shot a scorching 72.2 percent from the field. Sherrod tied a career high with 27 points in Friday's 71-68, come-from-behind win over Washington State. She scored 15 of Colorado's 28 fourth-quarter points to erase an 11-point, second-half deficit. She then tied a game high with six assists in Sunday's 65-43 victory over Washington, her 15th game with at least five this season.
