The governor of Colorado and his partner have been infected with coronavirus.

Jared Polis and his partner, Marlon Reis, both tested positive on Saturday.

“(Saturday) evening, Governor Polis and First Gentleman Reis learned that they have tested positive for COVID-19,” reads a post on the governor’s official Facebook page. “They are both asymptomatic, feeling well and will continue to isolate in their home.”

Polis, 45, is expected to continue working remotely while sequestered.

“Marlon and I are feeling well so far, and are in good spirits,” wrote Polis. “No person or family is immune to this virus. I urge every Coloradan to practice caution, limit public interactions, wear a mask in public, stay six feet from others and wash your hands regularly.”

On Nov. 25, the governor’s office released a statement announcing Polis was being quarantined after being in the proximity of an unidentified person who had tested positive for coronavirus, reported Denver TV station KUSA.
