College student calls for Sixers to fire Doc Rivers at graduation ceremony

Now is the time for graduation ceremonies all across the country as both college and high school students are achieving something impressive as they all walk across the stage and receive their diplomas and degrees.

It is also a time for them to express some individuality and whatever message they would like to get across and one University of Pennsylvania college student wanted to get a message across to the Philadelphia 76ers.

As the student was walking across the stage, he pulled up his phone, and on the phone was a simple message that he pointed at: fire Doc Rivers.

It is a little bit lame for anybody to really call for the Sixers to fire Rivers. He has his faults, but one can’t blame him for losing to the No. 1 seed in the East while missing Joel Embiid for two of those games. One also can’t blame Rivers for James Harden only taking two shots after halftime in an elimination game.

The Sixers are likely going to bring Rivers back as their head coach and fans will have to accept that.
