Coastal Carolina National Bank holds grand opening for new location in Aiken

Oct. 20—After an April relocation, one of Aiken's banks finally got to celebrate.

Coastal Carolina National Bank held a grand opening ceremony Wednesday to celebrate its new location at 322 Richland Ave. W. in downtown Aiken. Previously located on Laurens Street, the bank moved in April but waited to hold the grand opening for safety reasons.

The festivities included food, drinks and even a few giveaways, including an opportunity to win a golf cart.

Maura Utley, CCNB's senior vice president and director of marketing, was in attendance Wednesday, and said the organization believes in being very welcoming, hence the "open house."

"We love Aiken, and we're just really excited to be here," Utley said.

Utley also said CCNB is different from other banks in a few ways.

"When the phone rings, we answer it on the first or second ring because we believe in that," she said. "We really want people to have answers."

CCNB is also "people-centered" and "really believes in helping communities and businesses," Utley continued.

The new location offers drive-thru teller service, a drive-up ATM and a night depository.

"We are thrilled to be in our new location and grateful for the warm welcome we have received," stated Steve Hales, senior vice president, Aiken city executive. "Whether you're in the market for a home mortgage or seeking a better banking relationship, when you bank with CCNB you get the best of both worlds — time-saving conveniences combined with personalized service only the finest community bank can provide."
