New clues emerge concerning ‘Tiger King’ star Carole Baskin and her missing husband Don Lewis
‘Tiger King’ star Carole Baskin and her missing husband were the focal point of Wednesday’s ‘48 Hours: Suspicion.’ Don Lewis disappeared in 1997 and since then many people have speculated that Baskin had a hand in his disappearance. Trish Farr-Payne, who is the ex-wife of Baskin and Lewis’s handyman Kenny Farr, claims that he was somehow involved. She recalled Farr bringing Lewis’s van home days before he was reported missing. She said that Farr also had all of Lewis’s firearms and that he bought a large freezer with a padlock, which disappeared shortly after Lewis did. Perhaps the most damning evidence was a fight which Farr-Payne recalled after she left Farr. Farr-Payne recalled, “He said, ‘If you try to leave me again, I'm going to put you in the [meat] grinder, like I did Don."
