Below average temps with low rain chance through Sunday for Mid-South

·1 min read

The rain is over, and dry conditions are moving in the next couple of days before more rain chances start this weekend.

Tonight mostly cloudy skies with lows into the 60s.

Sunshine returns along with warmer temps Thursday and Friday with highs into the mid to upper 80s.

Low 90s make a return Saturday under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.

Rain chances are currently low for the weekend, with a 20% chance Saturday for a few isolated popup afternoon thunderstorms.

Sunday, up to a 30% chance of rain as some Gulf of Mexico moisture moves in and highs into the upper 80s.

Uncertainty in the forecast is HIGH as we head into next week due to a tropical low-pressure system that COULD move into our area.

If we see the tropical low move in, rain chances and rainfall totals will be high with below normal temps.

On the other hand, if the tropical low stays away, we will see little to potential no rain at all next week.

Stay tuned as new data comes in, and we will track the latest for you.
