Mother Nature just refuses to give the Guardians a clear schedule.

The Guardians-Tigers Friday night game in Detroit has been rained out and rescheduled as a split doubleheader on July 4 at 6:40 p.m. that will follow the originally scheduled game at 1:10 p.m.

If you're keeping score at home, this is now the eighth Guardians game this season that has been postponed. Six home games have been postponed due to inclement weather, one game in Chicago was postponed due to a COVID issue in the Guardians clubhouse and now tonight's game in Detroit has been rained out.
